The apartments are approximately 20km west of the capital Mahon and the International Aeropuerto de Menorca airport, and 1.5km from both the Son Bou resort centre where you will find a small selection of restaurants, bars and shops and the long sandy resort beach. Built in 1996 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2014, the modern low rise Club Mar Blau complex is a small development of 43 single storey one bedroomed villas, which are built in blocks of 4 or 5, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area. All guest rooms on the complex are either centrally heated or air conditioned according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, satellite television and a furnished terrace with sea views. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week. Guest facilities on offer include a small reception area with currency exchange services, along with a luggage room for late departures, a games room and both lounge and pool bars. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
