Hotel Blanc Palace - Cala Santandria

The 4 star Hotel Blanc Palace is situated around 100 metres from a small secluded cove, in the quiet resort of Cala Santandria on the rugged west coast of Menorca. The hotel is approximately 50km west of the capital Mahon and the International Aeropuerto de Menorca airport, and 3km south of the historic City of Ciutadella.

Built in 1999, the modern low rise Hotel Blanc Palace has a total of 122 one bedroom self catering apartments, which are built over 3 floors, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette with 2 electric cooking rings, refrigerator, kettle, toaster and microwave oven, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Blanc Palace also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health and Beauty Centre, which features a well equipped cardiovascular gymnasium with sauna and Jacuzzi.

The Hotel Blanc Palace also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring darts, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
