Hotel Grupotel Macarella - Cala'n Bosch

Part of the Grupotel Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel Grupotel Macarella is situated around 150 metres from the beach, in the popular resort of Cala'n Bosch on the south west coast of Menorca. The hotel is approximately 45km west of the capital Mahon and the International Aeropuerto de Menorca airport, and 200 metres from the marina and commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 2002, the modern low rise Grupotel Macarella complex has a total of 120 one bedroom suites, which are built over 3 floors, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings, refrigerator and microwave oven, and a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, satellite television with music channels, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk, and both luggage rooms with showers for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests the Hotel Grupotel Macarella also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room with private terrace, seating a maximum of 15 people, which is equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, along with both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Grupotel Macarella also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Spa and Wellness Centre, which features an additional indoor heated swimming pool with water jets, sauna, Turkish bath and cardiovascular gymnasium, as well as offering a variety of the latest cosmetic and other beauty treatments.

The Hotel Grupotel Macarella also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
