Hotel Sagitario Playa - Cala Blanca

The 4 star Hotel Sagitario Playa is situated around 200 metres from the beach in the popular resort of Cala Blanca on the central west coast of Menorca. The hotel is approximately 47km west of the capital Mahon and the International Aeropuerto de Menorca and around 4km south of the historic City of Ciutadella.

Built in 1990 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2010, the modern low rise Hotel Sagitario Playa has a total of 72 guest rooms, which are built over 2 floors, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces overlooking a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, mini bar, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once each week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, laundry and medical services, a games room, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a hard surface tennis court and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Sagitario Playa also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Spa and Wellness Centre, which features a further indoor heated pool with Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath and gymnasium, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and beauty treatments.

The Hotel Sagitario Playa also provides a seasonal programme evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
