Prinsotel La Caleta Apartments - Cala Santandria

Part of the Prinsotel Group of hotels, the 3 key Prinsotel La Caleta Apartments are situated around 200 metres from the beach in the quiet resort of Cala Santandria on the rugged west coast of Menorca. The apartments are approximately 50km west of the capital Mahon and the International Aeropuerto de Menorca airport, and 3km south of the historic City of Ciutadella.

Built in 1996, the modern low rise Prinsotel La Caleta complex has a total of 86 one bedroom self catering apartments, which are distributed between a central building and two further 1 and 2 storey annexes, all of which are then set amidst almost 5,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings, microwave oven, refrigerator and toaster, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, a number of "Select Apartments" are also available which feature a bathroom equipped with bathrobes and sandals, along with complimentary high speed Internet access, an additional television with Playstation, complimentary pool towels, and a mini bar welcome selection. All guest rooms are also provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guests staying at the Prinsotel La Caleta Apartments are welcome to use the facilities of the nearby Hotel Prinsotel La Caleta, which includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and luggage rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, along with a multi sports activity area for football and volleyball etc, and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Prinsotel La Caleta also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
