The 2 key Vistamar Apartments have an enviable location overlooking the San
Adeodato beach in the quiet resort of Santo Tomas on the central southern coast
of Menorca. The apartments are approximately 25km west of the capital Mahon and
the International Aeropuerto de Menorca airport, and 250 metres from the
commercial centre of the resort where you will find a small selection of
restaurants, bars and shops.
Built in 1971 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2004, the modern low rise Vistamar complex is a small development of 45 self catering studio type apartments, which are built over 4 floors and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the beach. Many of the apartments on the complex are privately owned and individually furnished, and will typically come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with sofa beds, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and luggage rooms for late departures, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
