Hotel Playa Azul - Cala'n Porter

Part of the Set Group of hotels, the 3 star rated Hotel Playa Azul has an enviable cliff top position overlooking the beach and magnificent horseshoe bay in the resort of Cala'n Porter on the south coast of Menorca.

The hotel is approximately 8km west of the capital Mahon and the International Aeropuerto de Menorca airport, and a short walk from the resort centre where you will find a small selection of restaurants, bars and shops.

Built in 1972 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2014, the modern low rise Hotel Playa Azul has a total of 125 guest rooms, including 103 double rooms and 6 singles that are built over 4 floors, along with a further 16 garden bungalows.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a telephone, high speed WiFi internet access, a satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the sea.

In addition to the above features, 2 bungalows at the Hotel Playa Azul have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all guest rooms are provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a games room, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, an air conditioned restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with spacious sun terraces overlooking the bay which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
