Surrounded by the Menorcan countryside, the Son Granot Rural Hotel and Restaurant has an enviable location overlooking entrance to the picturesque harbour of the historic City of Mahon on the east coast of Menorca.

The Son Granot Rural Hotel and Restaurant is a former 18th Century country house, that has been tastefully restored so as to retain many of its original features, and now offers a total of 10 guest rooms, including 8 air conditioned double rooms situated within the main building and a further 2 Suites in a separate annexe that is surrounded by gardens and a traditional Menorcan "aljub" or well.

All guest rooms at the hotel are individually decorated and come equipped with a private bathroom, a telephone, minibar, safety deposit box and a satellite television. In addition to the above features, Suites also have a living room with a terrace leading to a private garden, allowing more space and privacy to customers who want it.

Guest facilities include an a la carte restaurant, with many of the ingredients sourced from its own vegetable garden and farm and a comfortable sitting room that is dominated by a large fireplace where you will also find a small multilingual library specialising in subjects relating to Minorca, the culture, the sea, its nature, birds, astronomy and history.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large garden and swimming pool, with spacious sun teraces that are equipped with teak furniture, music and a bar service together with a small natural cave.
